How to get to San Pedro de Atacama?
Latam, Jet Smart and Sky airline arrive at El Loa de Calama Airport, from here you can take a transfer, which will take you directly to San Pedro de Atacama. For flights at 7:30 am there are special rates, book in advance.
Tur Bus makes trips from Santiago direct to San Pedro de Atacama, or from any city to Calama. From Calama Tur Bus, Atacama 2000 and Frontera make this trip.
From Salta Argentina, Geminis and Pullman Bus are the companies that arrive directly to San Pedro. The trip takes about 9 hours. From Bolivia there is no direct commercial transport to San Pedro de Atacama, only tourism companies or travel agencies. If you come by vehicle it is important to know that there are only gas stations in Calama and San Pedro de Atacama.
If you come from Argentina, the border crossings are open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., depending on weather conditions.
